Detailed report on Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) anime

Shingeki no Kyojin

a story

Centuries ago, humans were killed while now on the verge of extinction, by hideous creatures called "giants", forcing humans to hide in fear behind huge circular walls.

What makes these giants really terrifying is that their eating of humans is not because of hunger, but rather they seem to be enjoying it.

To ensure their survival, human remains began to live within defensive barriers, causing a hundred years to pass without encountering the giant.

However, this feeble calm was soon shattered when a colossal giant broke through the supposedly impregnable outer wall, sparking the struggle for survival against the human-eating giants.

After suffering greatly from the attacking creatures, Irene Yeager devoted his life to their elimination by joining the Reconnaissance Corps, an elite military unit that fights giants outside walls.

The story follows Irene, along with his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and his childhood friend Armin Erlert, as they join a brutal war against the giants and together try to figure out a way to defeat them before the inner walls which are the last hope of humankind are shattered.
